The Alzheimer Society is regularly seeking casual and part time employees for the Day Away and Respite Care Programs.  Reporting to the appropriate program managers, these workers provide personal support work to clients affected with Alzheimer's disease, or other dementia, and provide relief to their caregivers. 

Minimum qualifications include:

• Certification from a recognized Personal Support Worker program.

• Basic CPR Certificate.

• Experience working with seniors, particularly those with cognitive impairments.

• Excellent written, oral communication & interpersonal skills.

• A valid drivers license and access to vehicle is required.
